Parker J. Stene

It is our profound sorrow to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Parker J. Stene of Toronto, Ontario on February 04, 2023, aged 53 years.

Salesman, Leader, Entrepreneur. Treasured Son and Beloved Brother. Gone far too soon.

Parker was born April 03, 1969 to Henry and Delphine Stene. He grew up in small town Saskatchewan and graduated from High School in 1987. His real-life adventures began immediately by moving to Edmonton, mere days after finishing school. He started a long Sales career in cosmetics working across Canada and all over the world. He rose quickly with several firms, eventually landing at the coveted MAC on Bloor Street in Toronto. That set up his next move, which led to Co-Founding the cosmetics firm Veil Cosmetics more than a decade ago.

Parker was very social and had a love of gatherings, friends, food, music, art, and life. He was never afraid to celebrate that love of life. An evening out on the town, or dinner with friends was always on his mind, regardless of the time of day. Parker was loved and admired much more than he knew, and his family and friends will miss him dearly.

He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents; and his Father Henry in 2005. Parker leaves to mourn his mother Delphine; Two brothers, Murray (Myla) and their family, and Tyler (Charlene) and their family; His only sister Amber (Tyler) and their family, a large extended family numbering over 40 people. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, their children and grandchildren, and finally, a long list of treasured friends and co-workers, and a few close confidantes.

A celebration of Parker’s life will be held at a later date.

Do Not Stand At My Grave And Weep – Mary Elizabeth Frye

Do not stand at my grave and weep

I am not there. I do not sleep.

I am a thousand winds that blow.

I am the diamond glints on snow.

I am the sunlight on ripened grain.

I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken in the morning's hush

I am the swift uplifting rush

Of quiet birds in circled flight.

I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry;

I am not there. I did not die.
