Barbara Fibiger (nee Warry) Formerly Armstrong, McArthur 

Sept. 11, 1938 - October 20, 2024

Barbara Fibiger, born in Hamilton, Ontario, to Norman and Edith Warry, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, at Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto.

She will be missed by her loving family: siblings Patricia and David (Karen); children Jennifer (David), Denise, Neil (Kathleen), and Paul; and grandchildren Miranda, Malcolm, Owen, and Jackson. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter.

A graduate of Hamilton General Hospital nursing school in 1960, Barbara lived a diverse and fulfilling life. She worked as a nurse, transitioned to real estate, and earned a BSc in Psychology from the University of Toronto. Her adventurous nature led her to live in Italy, Kuala Lumpur, and Shanghai. A skilled pianist and devoted Blue Jays fan, she also had a passion for cooking which brought her family together, creating cherished memories of her Sunday "RB & Y" dinners.

Barbara’s warmth and bright smile will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
