It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved friend Charles (Chuck) Roy Liddy at Bridgepoint Hospital, Toronto on January 28th, 2021, at the age of 65. His treasured friends Grace and Stefen were with him in his final moments. Charles fought his 4-month battle with cancer with dignity and his unique dry sense of humour right to the end.

He was a bon vivant who enjoyed the finer things in life. He played the piano and sang beautifully. Charles was a voracious reader and documentary film watcher. He loved and supported the Arts in all its forms and was passionate about being at live performances.

Charles was an adopted only child but left behind a wide circle of eclectic friends who were his family. Nothing gave him greater pleasure than eating and drinking with friends.

Chucky was generous, funny and enjoyed his life to the fullest. We are all heartbroken but will hold onto the wonderful memories we have of a unique spirit taken too soon from this world.

Due to Covid-19 constraints, a very small closed cremation ceremony will be held on Monday February 1st, 2021.
