David “Dave” Cameron

September 23, 1956- July 23, 2022

A friendly, kind, generous and good-humoured person, Dave, peaceful passed away July 23 at North York General Hospital with his sister by his side. Dave was born in St. Catharines, to Ralph (predeceased) and Ann, currently living in Toronto. He was survived by his only sister, Debbie, of Toronto. Broken hearted are Diane Madden, Sturgeon PEI and long-time family friend, Linda Chindemi, Toronto. Dave is remembered by numerous friends, both in Ontario (Thorold, St.Catharines and Toronto) and PEI. He is mourned with deep sadness by extended family in the eastern provinces.

Dave attended Merritton High School, St. Catharines and Brock University. David as an youth started work with the Ontario Pulp and Paper Company (Thorold) and retired from the company renamed as Abitivi Pulp and Paper. Dave in his youth enjoyed skiing and golf. Later bicycling and tennis/squash at White Oaks, Niagara-on-the-Lake became an interest. In the last few years he was involved in bowling, Tai Chi and playing cards (both in person and on-line). Through out his life he developed his skill in compute rs/ IT.

The past year, David walked his Boston Terrier puppy, Bruno, daily through out the neighbourhood. He enjoyed meeting the neighbours with heir dogs.
