Deniz died suddenly at home in Toronto on

April 4th 2023

, after a long and difficult struggle with epilepsy. Deniz was fascinated by history from an early age and graduated with an honors degree in history from University of Toronto in 2016. He was a talented musician and a true enthusiast of all things musical. Always deeply curious and passionate about learning new things, Deniz was an accomplished cook who loved to share his delicious sushi, thai curries, gourmet pizzas and baked treats with others. Deniz had recently developed a keen interest in gardening and DIY projects. Deniz had a brilliant sense of humour and a great sense of style.

Deniz is survived by his mother, Yvonne Oral, grandparents, Irene and Alan Hill, and beloved furbabies, Rufus and Sophie.

Deniz was predeceased by his father, Lutfi Oral, and grandparents Hatice and Sacit Oral of Turkey.

Deniz was deeply loved and will remain so in our hearts forever.

A gathering for Deniz will be held at his home at the end of May.
