Dmitry Nazin
We lost Dmitry Nazin suddenly and shockingly on August 22, 2019. He was 44 years old. His wife, Iryna, was away visiting her family in Ukraine when it happened.
His heart ‘just stopped’ said the examining doctor. That huge heart that was the most loving, caring, kind and non-judgmental, a heart of excellence. Shattering news of Dmitry’s’s passing found us all in shock and disbelief.
By losing this one man we all lost so much.
How could that heart be so unkind to him and give up on him when it was so tender for all? Dima was supposed to grow old with Iryna, his lovely wife, his new-found love and best friend. He was one of the biggest fans of his beautiful, talented daughter Masha, her unconditional support team member.
He dreamed of leaving the big city behind, building an off-grid home in the woods and living sustainably in sync with nature. He had respect not just for people and animals, but the world around him.
Whatever he did no one could do any better: construction, design, cost, quoting, managing projects, processes, reading the drawings, just to name the few. He was walking-talking Google for whatever “construction” and without a word he’d claim respect when coming to the job-site. Clients often had to take hard truth from him, regarding the work or cost of their projects, but they trusted him. He was a no BS negotiator, honest to the core, knowledgeable and true to his values, yet dedicated to providing the best service and experience for his customers.
I feel like Dmitry brought all of us together as one big family, all who loved him to help each other at this difficult time and support his wife Iryna in creating the life for herself in Canada. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to GoFundMe page to help Iryna. She needs our help to cover all the immediate bills, legal costs, and funeral expenses.

We are all traveling through time together; let’s relish the time we have, as Dima taught us.
Rest in peace, my dear friend ~
All who loved you
