Douglas Hodgson

Douglas Hodgson of Toronto, passed away peacefully on January 21,2025 at the age of 93.

Born in Edmonton to the late Albert and Elizabeth (nee Whitla) Hodgson. Predeceased by his sister Jane and brothers Alan and Kenneth He is survived by a sister-in-law, Sydney Hodgson, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Douglas graduated from the University of Alberta in Commerce, then obtained a Diploma in Industrial Relations from Queen’s University, and a Master of Business Administration at Wayne State.

He worked for 35 years with Ford Motor Company both in Europe and Canada, in Human Resources, retiring in 1989.

Douglas acquired a keen interest in travel while working in Europe. Also he had an interest in theatre, antiques and music, particularly opera.

Cremation has taken place.
