It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Gloria “Joan” MacDonald (nee MacMinn) on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023.
Predeceased by her parents William G. and Clara L. MacMinn, and brother John “Jack” MacMinn. Survived by her sister, Judy Lemon of Welland.
Joan will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her three daughters, Wendy MacDonald of Toronto, MiRyung Murata (Paul) of Toronto and Molly Gammage (Jeff) of Ancaster, who will forever cherish the memories they shared. Loving Grandmother to Dalton and Matthew MacDonald, Carson Pang, Bennett and Clark Gammage. Beloved Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Joan’s life will be held on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at 3:30 PM at St. John’s Presbyterian Church (415 Broadview Ave, Toronto, ON)
We invite all who knew and loved Joan to join us in remembering and honoring her life. If you are unable to attend the memorial in person, a live stream of the service will be available. Information will be made available prior to the date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Joan’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Canada https://alzheimer.ca/en
