James Emerson Batchelor
James Emerson Batchelor, 87, of Toronto, passed away quietly on 1 February, 2020 after a brief illness. “Jim” grew up in Windsor, a graduate of Assumption College, and lived in Ottawa, Don Mills, and Burlington before settling in High Park. He was an active man, enjoying many sports, the outdoors and socializing with friends. Post-employment days were spent volunteering his time at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Mabelle, brother Robert, nephew Paul and his niece Carole. He is survived by children Dean and Debra, niece Susan, sister-in-law Marjorie, niece-in-law Corrine and great nieces Kate and Ana. The family would like to thank the Heritage Nursing Home staff for their support and care that they provided to Jim in his final days. In lieu of flowers, donations to
