James Richard Cozzi

James passed away on March 15, 2021. He had contracted Covid and despite the very fine care and treatment at Mackenzie Health in Richmond Hill he did not survive.

Paul and I would like to sincerely thank the very professional staff at Mackenzie Health for their care of James. They were dedicated and compassionate.

Here are some thoughts about James that Paul and I would like to share with you:

He had a great sense of humor.

He was stoic about life which hopefully helped him.

He was my older brother Paul’s and my trusted paralegal when we practiced law together as Cozzi and Cozzi. He often told the story about how other lawyers thought he was a lawyer and would ask him for legal advice which he happily gave them.

He followed our father’s love of baseball and was an avid baseball fan who closely followed the Blue Jays.

Paul and I have many fond memories of our childhoods together growing up at 49 Dodge Road in Scarborough.

Memories are all we have now and they are good ones.

James was a Great Guy!
