James Alan Speirs

James Alan Speirs, age 63, of Barrie, Ontario, passed away on March 19, 2025 after succumbing to his injuries from the tragic fall the month prior. Born on January 4, 1962 in Scotland, the family immigrated to Canada the summer of 1970.

Alan was known for his warm personality and genuine kindness. A beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, he touched the lives of those around him with his infectious laughter and caring nature. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the St. Michael's Hospital Foundation or the Trillium Gift of Life in memory of Alan Speirs.

May Alan rest in eternal peace as he joins his beloved Joan and parents and the family that went before him.
