It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Edward Turner, a beloved husband, father, and soon-to-be grandfather, who left us on December 5th, 2024, after a brave battle with cancer. James was 67 years old.
James's generosity, kindness, and boundless love for his family were at the core of who he was. His sense of humor and zest for life made him the most fun-loving person to be around, and his presence brightened every room. James was a devoted husband to his wife, Cheryl Turner, and a proud father to his daughters, Stacey and Ashley. He was also a dedicated father-in-law to Ian and cherished his soon to be born, beloved grandson, Massimo (Max) James, who he fought so hard to meet.
James was a loving son to his father, James, late mother Mary, and brother to late sister, Tina. James was also survived by his sisters, Linda and Kathy, and his brothers, Gerald and his wife, Chris, and Stephen (Randy), and his wife Joyce. He leaves behind a family who will forever carry his memory in their hearts.
James had a deep love for his dog, Tika, and was happiest when boating and spending quality time with his loved ones. His ability to make others laugh, his unwavering loyalty, hardworking nature, and his enduring love for his family will be missed beyond measure.
James's legacy of love, laughter, and family will live on in all who knew him. He was a man who left the world a better place, and his memory will be cherished forever.
