Jane Marcus Taylor

Peacefully after a brief encounter with cancer. Beloved daughter of the late Thomas Housson Sears and Anne Marcus Sears. Predeceased by her siblings Mary Anne Thomas and William Housson Sears and her cat Max (aka Furnly).

Loved beyond measure by daughters Robyn Jane Cakebread (Edward Kraus) and Caroline Marcus Cakebread (James Mitchell). The very best Nan of Miles, Isabelle, Henry and Juliet. 

Jane made friends wherever she went and her death is mourned by so many people who knew her over the years. 

She was a gentle force in the lives of many talented actors.

She was a true ambassador for Toronto and loved living there.

She was always up for a chat and a cocktail. Her humour and kindness will be sorely missed by friends and family. 

A funeral service is to be held at Grace Church-on-the-Hill, 300 Lonsdale Rd., Toronto, on Saturday November 9 at 2:00 pm
