It is with great sadness that we announce that our father, Joe Nova has passed away peacefully at the age 93 on Friday January 15, 2021 at Bayview Extendicare, Toronto Ontario. Joe was born in Scott, Saskatchewan on February 14, 1927. He moved in the early 1950’s to residences in the Toronto area.

Joe was predeceased by his wife Jenny (nee Mukoyed) and sister Mary, brothers Ed, Nick and Al.  He is survived by his children Jeff (Marisa) and Janis (James) and his grandchildren Kyle, Paige, Hannah, Josh and Zach. Joe was a devoted husband and father. He worked most of his life as a successful salesman in the flooring industry.  Joe had a wonderful recreational life tending to his garden and caring for his backyard swimming pool. He loved sports and travelling. He especially enjoyed all his visits to his daughter in Whistler, B.C..  Joe also had a huge interest in billiards and was always ready to play any opponent.

Joe was a kind and caring man and an outstanding father and grandfather.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to the wonderful staff, nurses and doctors at Richmond Hill Retirement Home and Bayview Extendicare for their wonderful support and care provided to Joe.

Our father will be deeply missed.

Due to the situation with Covid -19 there will be no service at this time. We hope to celebrate dad’s life with more family and friends at a later date.
