Bill Lennon’s love of life will not come to an end with his death. Bill passed away suddenly on January 27, 2021, one day after he celebrated his 82nd birthday.

Bill will be remembered for his constant sense of community and how he loved helping others. He enjoyed a funny joke and was always ready to tell a good one!

Bill is survived by Jean, the love of his life and step-daughter Kim and her husband Michael, along with many close family members and good friends. Beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews and missed by so many friends.

He was the youngest of 8 children to Ethel Mary Lennon & George Melville Lennon, and lived in Toronto all his life.

Bill was very house proud and loved working with Jean, to ensure their garden was a welcoming and lovely place for the enjoyment of family, friends and their dog Chloe. It’s hard to find photographs of Bill, as at events he was always taking videos with his trusty camera for wonderful memories.

Bill had a long career at the Toronto Star for almost 5 decades, until he retired in 1999.
