Mary Yuk Yee Leung

Mary Yuk Yee Leung, age 57 of Toronto, passed away on April 5, 2021 from her courageous fight with breast cancer.

She was born to parents Pak Fai Tang and Sam Kiu Chan, on August 28, 1963 in Hong Kong.

Mary is survived by her husband of 35 years, Alfred; her three children, Eric, Pearl and Michael; and her brother and sisters, Yuk Tong, Yuk Ha and Yuk Yin.

Mary was a loving wife and nurturing mother. She always put family first by supporting her children with opportunities and encouragement, and by sharing her life wisdom. Her favorite hobby was cooking which she often used to bring family and friends together by sharing recipes and delicious meals.

Mary was also a devout Christian for over 30 years, who tirelessly volunteered at various churches and ensured that everyone felt loved as brothers and sisters in Christ.

Even in her final months, Mary remained true to her character: loving, optimistic, and persistent to the very end. She is remembered for her ideals and she continues to inspire those who knew her to uphold them and to love as she did. She passed in the comfort of feeling loved and appreciated by family and friends.

Following Mary’s wishes, no funeral ceremony was held and her cremated remains were scattered in nature.
