It is with sadness that the family of Margaret (Scrivner) Brown announce her passing.
Mother to David (Judy), and Darrin (Angela) and grandmother to Luke.
Born and raised in Toronto, her love for this city stretched far and wide, from volunteering in the Santa Claus Parade since 1946, when she was an ice princess on the Snow Queen float, right up into her late seventies.
She had a passion for traveling, sailing, and golf and a flair for fashion. She started out modeling, then moved onto teaching followed by commentating and organizing numerous pageant shows, and ultimately judging for over 10 years.
She will be remembered for her determined spirit.
Respecting her wishes, there will be no funeral service.
If desired, a donation to Parkinson Canada is appreciated.
