Mario Iannuzziello March 9, 1954- January 10, 2024
Mario passed away with peace, dignity and love with his family by his side at Hennrick Bridgepoint Hospital. Mario Iannuzziello was born March 9, 1954 to Guiseppina and Domenico Iannuzziello in Toronto. He will be forever in the hearts of his beloved children Daniella (Bridget), Mark ( Carly) Iannuzziello. Adoring Nonno of William, Tehya and Giacomo. Cherished brother of (Predeceased ) Andre (Mary), Peter ( Grace), Rocco (Jan), and Grace ( Lou Di stefano ) and cousin to Angela, Danny (Jeannie), and Franco and nephew to Guiseppina Iannuzziello. Mario loved to make people laugh will be fondly remembered as the funniest uncle to Kristina (Mike Forgie), Joey ( Amanda), Laura ( Vince Palmieri), Daniel ( Allie), Alanna, Lisa, Michael (Maddie) and Katie, Julianna (Adrian), Jessica and Robert.
Mario was a graduate of Harbord Collegiate in Toronto and excelled in theatre arts class, basketball, football and boxing and brought his charismatic energy to every aspect of his life. He worked for WSIB for over 35 years and even blended humor and professionalism where he made so many friendships. Mario had an outstanding sense of humor and not only made everyone around him laugh but also made a lasting impression on peoplewith his outgoing personality. Numerous friends, family members and acquaintances have many “Mario stories” to fondly remember a hilarious friend that made them smile and brightened their day with a joke, a card trick or an act of kindness. Mario loved life and lived it to the fullest playing golf, watching the Buffalo Bills and Toronto Maple Leafs and spending time with his adored grandchildren. Mario would love laughter , love of life and the many “Mario stories” to continue and to teach the next generation the magic of kindness and having a positive effect on others.
