The morning of Nov. 26, 2016, at Mackenzie Health Richmond Hill, at the age of 81 years. Son of George Douglas and Elizabeth Winifred Quance. Cherished husband of Wendy Ann Quance (nee Jordan). Beloved father of David Richard and Brian Douglas Quance, both of Richmond Hill, and Lori Ann Aston, of Monroe, N.C.. Dear brother of Nancy Boden and Donna Quance; brother-in-law to Ross Boden; predeceased by his sister, Marion McClure. Grandfather of Jessica Aiden, Amber Addison and Hunter Ace Aston. A long-standing member of the community, past president of Richmond Hill Seniors’ Club #35, George is missed by many. Service to be held Wed., Dec. 7, 2016, 2 p.m., at Richmond Hill United Church, 10201 Yonge St.. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada are welcomed.
