Vilna Miriam Ien

Vilna Miriam Ottley Ien, C.P.A. , C.G.A. November 9, 1938 - September 17, 2024 

Vilna went home to be with her Lord leaving behind two loving daughters, Lorraine and Marci and grandchildren Melayna, Jordanne, Sari, Blaize and Dash. She is also survived by her beloved sister, Lorna, brothers Sam and Grafton, nephew Regan and nieces Vilna and Taylor. 

Vilna’s decades-long career as a field auditor for Corporations Tax took her across Canada. Her love of travel lead to numerous adventures and exciting destinations across the globe including Sri Lanka, South Africa, Greece,Turkey, France, Israel, Mexico and several West Indian islands. Closest to her heart was quietly serving her church in every capacity she could. From being appointed the first female Deacon, to singing soprano in the choir, sewing clothes for kids overseas and church events and a trusted member of the weekly counting team, she found joy in supporting many ministries. 

Cremation has already taken place and a Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday September 27th, 11am, at One Church TO located at 2885 Kennedy Road, Scarborough. 

We will miss your warm, kind heart but know we will see you again.
